Maintaining guest teachers in higher secondary schools has become difficult for the District Education Office. About 70 thousand applications have so far been received across the state. During this time some candidates also made a ruckus. For this reason the police had to be called.
In Patna district only 35373 applications have been received. The application was being taken from May 24. On the last day, more than six thousand applications have been deposited in the district of Patna. It is to be known that in Patna district 520 guest teachers will be kept for six subjects. Six subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Animal Science, Botany and English Subject.
Candidates line started from the morning on the last day of the application. Given the number of candidates, six counters were increased. In the 35373 thousand applications, only 33 lakh candidates are from BTech. Priority will be given to candidates of BEd and STE with the first postgraduate in Medha list. After this, BEd will be included with retired teachers and postgraduates. If the seat is left, the BTech candidates will have to get approval from the department before joining the merit list.
Merit list was expanded.
The number of applications has become so high that it is now difficult to prepare merit list for the teacher planning unit. It’s time for this June 9th. Assuming the planning unit, it will take many days to clear the application. DPO Dr. Ashok Kumar told that more time will be sought from the department to issue merit list.
