Banaras Hindu University will be organising its 100th Convocation Ceremony on 22nd November 2018. This will be a special occasion since it will be a celebration for the centenary year of the Convocation Ceremony. The chief guest of the day will be, the renowned scientist, receiver of Padma Vibhusham, Prof. Raghunath Anant Mashelkar.
On this auspicious day, the students will be shown the journey of these 100 glorious years, so that they can also get to know about the developments and achievements of BHU that took place in these years.
This year BHU will be organising the Convocation Ceremony for the batches 2016-17 and 2017-18. A total of 24 thousand students will be awarded certificates and medals for their excellence in the academics, in their Graduation, Post-Graduation, P.H.D, and M.Phill. The chief guest will present Chancellor medal, BHU medal, and Maharaja Vibhuti Narayan Singh medal to 70 students, including both the batches.
This Convocation Ceremony will be special for so many students and for the entire BHU family since this ceremony will mark the centenary celebration of this big event.
