The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) is unlikely to announce results of the Class 12th board examinations on Wednesday and is likely to release the RBSE board result on 20 May, said a report on News18.
“The preparation of result is in its last leg. If everything goes as per schedule, the results will be announced on Saturday,” the board’s spokesperson Rajendra Gupta told HT.
Gupta further said that Rajasthan Board Results 2018 for Class 12 science stream will be announced first followed by commerce and humanities. He added that the Rajasthan Board Results 2018 for Class 10 will be declared either in the last week of this month or first week of June.
Candidates can visit the official website, rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in, to check for updates.
The News18 report said that the RBSE Class 12th 2018 results for Arts, Commerce and Science streams are expected after 20 May.
Class 12th exams in the state were held between 8 March and 2 April this year. Over 8 lakh students appeared for the board examinations in Rajasthan.
How to check Class 12 RBSE Board Result
Students can follow the updated exam schedule on the official board website. Once a confirmed date is available, they may follow these steps to access their marksheets:
– Go to the official website for RBSE: rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
– Click on the link for “results 2018 exams”.
– Follow the link for the for the higher secondary results 2018 for Class 12th results.
– Enter your details in the fields provided.
– Download your results and take a print out of the same for further reference.
The Class 12 exams were held at 5,507 centres across the state.
More than 826,200 students enrolled for Class 12 exams and out of which 42,665 students registered in commerce stream, 246,254 in science and 537359 in humanities.
The board identified 415 centres as sensitive and made elaborate security arrangements to stop students from cheating at these centres. It also installed close-circuit television or CCTV cameras and recorded the exams on camera.
RBSE Board Result & Exam 2017 Statistics
Last year, 89.05% students out of the 565,930 candidates from the humanities stream cleared the Class 12 exam. Girls did better than boys as 91.35% were declared successful. Among the boys, 87.04% passed.
Girls also outscored boys in science and commerce streams with a pass percentage of 93.4 and 95.5 respectively. The pass percentage for boys was 90.03 and 89.45 respectively.
In the science stream, 229,351 students appeared in the exams and out of which 80.46% girls and 67.7% boys got the first division. Similarly, in commerce 46,877 students appeared in the exams and 71.48% girls and 44.59% got the first division.
