HiRe, the HR Club of IIM Ranchi proudly presents the HR Conclave 2019 which would be organized on January 12, 2019 at State Museum Auditorium.
The HR Conclave is one of the prestigious events in the IIM Ranchi academic calendar wherein eminent HR professionals from varied industries enlighten students on modern HR trends and prevalent industry practices, providing insights derived from their vast knowledge and industrial experience. The theme for this year is ‘Systems Approach to HR’. It views the organization as a unified, purposeful system composed of interrelated parts. The conclave will explore how the Ability Enhancement System, Motivation Enhancement System and Opportunity Enhancement system work together to create a synergy effect leading to effective Human Resource Management. The event would be graced by the following eminent guests from the industry.
Nishith Upadhyaya, Advisory and Knowledge Head- SHRM India, leads a growing advisory practice at SHRM India, dedicated to enabling clients realize business goals though better alignment of people practices. He is focused on achieving business growth through effective execution of client consulting mandates for the whole practice in domains such as Vision & Values cascade, Organization Structuring, Performance Management System & other HR process design.
Rajdeep Bhattacharya, Lead – Corporate HR, an alum of XLRI Jamshedpur and University of Antwerp, Belgium, has over 8 years of experience in various HR functions including compensation and benefits, talent management, coaching and facilitation, employer branding and learning and development. Mr Bhattacharya has also worked in multiple HR roles and designations in multinational companies like Asian Paints and is heading the Corporate HR Function in his current organization.
Krishna Chaitanya, HR Lead – Mondelez International, a passionate HR professional who brings with him almost 10 years of rich active experience. He is an engineer turned HR professional. He is an advocate of creating & nurturing High Performance Working and has implemented the same in his current organization. He was a part of the “Seed Team” to establish the Green Field site for Mondelez at Sricity, Andhra Pradesh, one of the company’s large investments which envisaged to have state of the art technologies with complete HPWS ways of working for enabling self-sufficient teams. Also he has worked extensively for developing a Diversity Powered site with 50 % women employees and many other path breaking practices.
Ramaswamy V, Chief Manager, Compensation and Benefits, AJIO, a true believer of HR as a business partner, he is a passionate HR professional who thrives in challenging roles and ambiguous environments. With nearly 10 years of experience in multiple domains of HRM including Compensation and Benefits, OD and HR-BP, he has worked closely with CEOs, Department Heads and inspirational leaders to propel his own growth and versatility. The key competencies of Mr Ramaswamy include HR Analytics and metrics, Employee Engagement, Organizational Structure and Design and Change Management.
Hemang Jauhari, Senior Program Manager – Global Brands and Attraction, Amazon, brings with him more than 9 years of experience in diverse fields of Human Resource Management including consulting and research. He has worked in various functions of HR including organisational design and planning, leadership development, competency assessment and development, learning and development and talent management.
Kamalika Daka, Regional Head HR (North) Domino’s, comes with a total experience of 11 years in managing diverse HR functions like developing people strategy in line with business strategy, talent acquisition and creating a talent pipeline and developing the overall employee value proposition and employer brand. She has a Masters in Human Resource Management from ICFAI Hyderabad. She has received multiple awards and accolades for innovation employee experience practices and has been invited as panelist and guest lecture at premier Indian Institutes IITs, IIMs.
Subesh Bhattacharjee, Team Lead- Learning and Development (Pidilite Industries), comes with an experience of around 16 years in the industry. Having worked with various reputed companies such as Essar, Idea Cellular, Bharti Airtel, Wipro and many others he brings with him the the practical knowledge and industrial experience of providing learning solutions as per organization needs, design, develop and execute organization wide change management & people development initiatives.
The event will start with Saraswati Vandana and lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Prof. Shailendra Singh, Director-IIM Ranchi shall deliver the welcome speech which would be followed by the address by various distinguished speakers delineating the important aspects of the HR industry.
