IIM Ranchi hosted a guest lecture by Mr. Amanullah, Aman, Director, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Mumbai, for the students of PGP 2019-21 batch.

“Why, What, How”, The day started with Mr. Amanullah Aman asking this question to the students in the audience about existing infrastructure in our country and its issues and how to improve it. The entire session continued in that note where students enthusiastically participated and put forth points and arguments that enhanced and gave direction to the discussion at hand. Mr. Aman also mentioned few key problems that our nation is facing today like road, safety, mobility, electricity and water.

He also talked about different infrastructure sectors and discussed at length about features and aspects, problems and possibilities of solution in each of them. Later onto the session he simulated a situation on how a project for infrastructure gets developed in India where the roles are of Government, Project Developer, Banker and other stakeholders, taking the situation of recent construction of Hyperloop in the country. He also introduced to the BXT methodology to solve problems of future.

The session ended with the oath taken by students and he urged every student in the audience to work harder and evolve their minds and to work for betterment of the nation and for a better life and infrastructure of the coming generations.
