TEDx brings the spirit of TED’s mission of ideas worth spreading to local communities around the globe. TEDx events are organized by curious individuals who seek to discover ideas and spark conversations in their own community. The second edition of TEDxIITPatna was hosted on September 1, 2019, at IIT Patna.TEDxIITPatna 2019 was a platform to inspire people to look into the “Metamorphosis”.

“The theme of our TEDx event, “Metamorphosis” was to reflect the process of change. We live in a time where ‘change is the only constant’. Changes in transportation, technology, warfare and most importantly in people and society are happening at the pace that we can’t catch up! So the idea of TEDx IIT Patna is to hear from experts, their experiences and how the industry evolved and how they had to evolve with it. Who else would have known the theme better than our 4 speakers? By their life-changing experiences, the audience was inspired to think bigger, brighter and better.” Said Piyush Chauhan, Organiser TEDxIITPatna.
The event began with the inaugural address by Prof. Pushpak Bhattacharyya, honorable Director, IIT Patna. Post this, the convenor welcomed the audience and thanked everyone for being a part of the event.
