The administrative building of the newly created Patliputra University will be built in Mithapur. The government has been requested to transfer 8.5 acres of land near the bus stop in Mithapur. The entire area will be developed as a consolidated agricultural building and academic complex.
The bus stop will be shifted to Baria. Apart from the administrative building of Pataliputra University, apart from the Vice-Chancellor, the residential colony for teachers and non-teaching personnel will also be created.
The Department of Revenue has written a letter to the District Magistrate of Patna to take action against the land transfer for the university’s building. On the instructions of the government, the land officer has been requested to report the availability of land by measuring the land. The process required for land transfer has been started at the district level.
