The registration process for enrolling students in UG and PG classes of Patliputra University has begun. The University administration claims that Patliputra University is the only University of Bihar, where the process of online registration for the first time has been adopted. Media in-charge B.K. Mangalam said that a meeting was held with the principals of 25 indigenous colleges under the chairmanship of the Pro Vice-Chancellor on Saturday.
In the meeting, Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Girish Kumar Chaudhary said that the process of online registration will be completed by 20th February. Students who have got enrollment in the UG have to deposit online Rs 311 for inter-pass students, while Rs 461 for inter-pass students from other boards have been fixed.
Students who take admission in PG will be charged Rs. 350 for registration charges. PG students are being charged in advance for issuing a migration certificate at the time of registration. Later they will not have to pay the amount for the migration. The registration fee of Rs. 461 has been fixed for professional, vocational courses and B.Ed students.
Media Incharge said that on February 12, a meeting will be held with the principals of affiliated colleges so that the registration process can be started there. Prior to this, a meeting of the Principals of BEd colleges has also been convened on 11th February. Helpdesk has been created in the colleges for the registration process. All the colleges have also been given User ID and Password.
