Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the 66th convocation ceremony of the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kharagpur today, February 23, 2021. The Prime Minister will address the students and teachers of the Institute via video conferencing at 12.30 pm. Governor of West Bengal, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, and Union Minister of State for Education will also be present on the occasion.

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Institute of Medical Sciences and Research at IIT Kharagpur today. Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Institute of Medical Sciences and Research is a super specialty hospital that has been set up by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur with support from the Minister of Education.

Earlier also PM Narendra Modi had taken out time to connect with students for a better tomorrow. Last week the Prime Minister addressed the  Visva-Bharati University Convocation via virtual mode on February 19. In the ceremony, the PM gave special emphasis to NEP and how this will be a turning point for the future of the young generation of the country.

Meanwhile, PM will be interacting with students on Pariksha Pe Charcha. The portal to register has been opened for students where they can register to get an opportunity to interact with the Prime Minister directly and discuss their concerns or anxiety regarding the upcoming examinations.
