The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has organized a workshop to disseminate the research study of all Population Research Centers in 2018-19. Its responsibility has been given to the Population Research Center of Patna University.
This workshop at PU will take place on 16 and 17 January. In this regard, Vice Chancellor Prof. Rasbihari Prasad Singh informed that 18 Population Research Centers have been set up to conduct research in the area of population, health and nutrition and to evaluate and respond to policy and planning. Pro. Singh said that the chief guest at the workshop will be Union Minister Ashwani Kumar Choubey.
In this, 26 research papers from Population Research Centers were invited. Pro. Singh said that based on the recommendation of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, we will soon start a one-year or 6-month diploma course on demography at the Population Research Center in Patna University.
