The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) has announced the results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exam today. While 18, 594 candidates had enrolled for the exam. Total 18,036 had appeared for the class X boards. Overall pass percentage this year is 68.33%.
Of the 12,324 candidates who passed the exam, a total of 12,219 were regular candidates and 105 were private candidates. In terms of the number of male to female qualified candidates, 5,888 are boys and 6,436 are girls. The total pass percentage of boys is 69.91% while the pass percent of girls is 66.94%.
Students can apply for revaluation of their answer sheets from May 28 onwards but for not more than two subjects.
“Application for post publication Scrutiny and Re-evaluation of Answer Scripts in not more than two subjects shall be accepted by the Board, if applied as per Board’s rules and regulations up to 28th May, 2020 (Thursday),” reads the official notification.
The board has asked the principals of HSLC centres to collect candidates’ marksheets from the board office.
“All Principals/Headmasters/Headmistresses of High School Leaving Certificate Examination Centres are informed to collect the original statement of marks of their candidates from the office of the Board during office hours,” states the notification.
