After Delhi and Haryana, now the Rajasthan government has also announced summer holidays in the state schools on Wednesday 21 April. According to the official order, all government and private schools will have a 45-day summer vacation from April 22. In view of the fast growing corona infection in the state, all state and private schools
have been holidayed from 22 April to 06 June.
State Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara informed on Twitter that teachers who are engaged in the campaign to fight COVID-19 will be able to avail leave only after the permission of their authority such as District Collector or Sub-Divisional Magistrate. The teachers have Departmental orders have been issued regarding summer vacations
declared in schools.
Last week, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) announced the promotion of students of classes 6 and 7 to the next class without conducting the annual examinations. With the increasing number of COVID-19 cases across the country, the state board will promote students of classes 6 and 7 on the basis of internal marking.
