They will be given ‘Leadership’ training to develop leadership capabilities of Headmasters of all elementary and secondary schools of the state. It has been started in the State Educational Research and Training Council (SCERT). Prepare as trainer (resource person) trained in the districts and get training in the districts. This 14-day residential training will be started in the district in the District Education and Training Institute (DIET) this month. In the first phase, there is a plan to develop leadership capacities in 3000 headmasters.

The Bihar Education Project Council has adopted the National University of Education Planning and Administration (NUPPA) model for this training. Leadership training of three-three headmasters in 19 districts occurred in SCERT from 23 to 29 October. There are 57 master trainers in it. Now they will train all the primary, middle school and high school headmasters in their respective districts. Many experts in the state including Nippa’s Charus Mita Mallik trained these headmasters. Trained headmasters were certified by the SCERT on Monday.

Program Officer of Comprehensive Education Campaign Kiran Kumari said on Tuesday that Leadership Training Program will be started in the districts of 19 districts from 21st of November. 30 participants will take training in a diet. The training will be ten days, four days and two days in three months, respectively. After every training, the headmaster will take the learning out of his school and the feedback received from it will be included in the next training. At the same time, training of 57 master trainers from remaining 19 districts will be done in SCERT from November 21. .

SCERT Assistant Director Vinod Kumar Singh said that the educational environment of the schools is dependent on headmaster only. The main focus is on teaching the headmasters a better way to run school and to teach. The main aspect of training is to tell the headmasters their importance how important they are in the future of children.
