The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) wil be conducting the UPSC National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) 1 and NDA and NA 2 exams together this year, in view of the coronavirus-mandated lockdown which has halted every other process in the country.
According to the revised schedule by the UPSC, the NDA/NA 1 and NDA/NA 2 exams will take place on September 6, 2020, while the application process for the UPSC NDA 2 exams 2020 started from yesterday (June 10) and will continue till June 30. Candidates can apply online through the official site of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
The UPSC held a special meeting on June 5 to review the ongoing situation in the country due to the COVID-19. Taking note of the phase-wise opening of coronavirus-mandated lockdown and easing of restrictions, the commission released a revised schedule of UPSC NDA 2020 exams and other recruitment tests.
Eligibility Criteria for UPSC NDA 2020 exam:
For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: The desired candidates must have cleared the class 12th exams of the 10+2 pattern of School education or equivalent exmas conducted by state education board.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: The desired candidates for this category must have passed the class 12th exams of the 10+2 pattern of school or equivalent exams with Physics and Mathematics conducted by state education board.
