BR Ambedkar Bihar University Kabaddi Team Receives Ceremonial Send-Off for Chancellor Trophy Tournament

In a spirited show of support, the BR Ambedkar Bihar University Kabaddi Team was given a ceremonial send-off today as they departed for the prestigious Inter University Chancellor Trophy Kabaddi Tournament. The competition, scheduled to take place from October 16th to 19th at Patliputra Sports Complex, Patna, has generated excitement as top kabaddi teams from universities across Bihar gear up for fierce matches.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai, while flagging off the team, highlighted the tough competition ahead and expressed confidence in the Bihar University Kabaddi Team, known for their determination and sportsmanship. "This is not just a sporting event but a representation of our university's spirit and camaraderie," he remarked, adding that the entire university community is united in its support. Prof. Rai emphasized the values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, urging the players to give their best and make the university proud.
The send-off was attended by faculty members, students, and well-wishers, all rallying behind the team. Among the officials present were LS College Principal Prof. Om Prakash Roy, Proctor Prof. BS Rai, DSW Prof. Alok Pratap, and University Sports Council mentor Dr. Sanjay Sinha, among others.
Prof. Rai also praised Raj Bhawan for their commitment to promoting sports and athletic excellence through initiatives like the Chancellor Trophy, which fosters a culture of sportsmanship among Bihar’s youth.
With their team colors on and determination shining, the BRABU Kabaddi players are set to showcase their skills in the much-anticipated tournament, aiming to leave a lasting impact.
