BRABU's 23 New Principal Postings: VC Prof. DC Rai Praises Transparent System


In a significant stride towards strengthening higher education in BRA  Bihar University, 23 newly appointed principals have received their postings to various constituent colleges through a transparent lottery system. The appointments, made by the Bihar State University Service Commission (BSUSC), aim to fill long-standing vacancies and bring much-needed stability to college administrations. Notably, Prof. Kanupriya, through this transparent lottery system, has been appointed as the principal of the prestigious L.S. College, Muzaffarpur.

BRABU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai lauded the integrity and fairness of the allocation process. He stated that "the transparent lottery system was implemented as per direct directives from the Governor of Bihar, ensuring the highest standards of fairness." Emphasizing the meticulousness, Prof. Rai added, "The entire process of allotting colleges to the principals has been carried out with complete transparency and integrity under the watchful eye of the University, and was meticulously video recorded to ensure absolute accountability. Emphasizing the long-term benefits of these permanent appointments, Prof. Rai highlighted, "With permanent principals, the implementation of steps to ensure integrity and transparency can be done more effectively." He further underscored the strategic advantage these appointments bring: "These permanent appointments will significantly help colleges make long-term plans towards academic excellence."

Looking ahead, Prof. Rai articulated the university's vision. "Now, with stable leadership, our primary goal is to achieve unprecedented academic excellence and and promote robust research activities in all our colleges," he affirmed, signaling a renewed focus on qualitative improvements. He proudly added, "The University has also achieved significantly in the last one year, marking notable progress on several fronts."The current systematic and fair approach is expected to usher in an era of stability and improved academic administration, paving the way for sustained growth.Prof. Rai also noted, "

The notification for joining has already been issued, with the new principals mandated to assume their responsibilities within 15 days. The crucial event saw the presence of key university officials including Proctor Prof. B.S. Rai, Registrar Samir Kumar Sharma, the Mayor Nirmala Sahu, the Deputy Mayor Dr. Monalisa,  and a representative from Raj Bhavan Prof. Rukhsana Khatoon.

Among those who congratulated the newly appointed principals were Prof. Rajeev Kumar, Prof. TK Dey,  Dr. Sanjay Sinha, Dr. Shartendu Shekhar, Dr. Renubala, and Dr. Navin Kumar, among others, reflecting widespread support for these appointments.
