CUSB Research Scholar Shristi Singh bags Best Paper Presentation Award at Indo-Bhutan Social Science Conference 2025


Shristi Singh, a scholar doing research under the guidance of Prof. Ravi Kant from the Department of Teacher Education of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), has been awarded the Best Paper Presentation Award at the prestigious Indo- Bhutan Social Science Conference (IBSSC 2025) this past week. The award-winning paper, titled “Ctrl + Alt + Mind = Reprogramming Students’ Psychological Well-Being through Computational Thinking and Mindfulness,” was co-authored by Anuradha Jamwal and Rinku Nath. The study offers an innovative interdisciplinary perspective, combining computational thinking and mindfulness practices to enhance students’ psychological well-being. CUSB Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, congratulated Shristi and the co-authors for their outstanding achievement, appreciating their contribution to advancing interdisciplinary research and bringing laurels to the university. CUSB Public Relation Officer (PRO) Mohammad Mudassir Alam said that the conference, themed “Envisioning the Future: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Resilience, Inclusion, Sustainability, Social Transformation, and Saving the Planet,” was organized by the Department of Business Administration, Assam University, Silchar, in academic partnership with Paro College of Education, Bhutan, and in association with the Silchar Management Association, Assam.

Prof. Ravi Kant, research supervisor of Shristi said that Prof. G P Prasain (Former VC, Tripura University), Prof. H. Ramnanda Singh (Dean, J.N. School of Management, Assam University), Dr. Dorji Thinley (President, Paro College of Education, Bhutan), Dr. Mario Curatolo (CEO, MBC Consultants, Switzerland), and other distinguished convenors and organizers presented the award, commending the team’s innovative approach and scholarly excellence.
