India Post issued a special commemorative envelope marking a decade of excellence of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bodh Gaya during BODHIPEX-2026, the Department of Posts’ district-level stamp exhibition held in Gayaji. The release represents a significant milestone for the institute while also highlighting Bihar’s growing stature as a hub of contemporary management education and intellectual leadership.
In the last ten years, IIM Bodh Gaya has grown from an inaugural batch of around 30 students to a thriving academic on-campus community of more than 1,600 students, representing more than 280 cities across the country and reflecting its expanding national character. The institute has played a pivotal role in reshaping Bihar’s management landscape by attracting diverse talent, fostering research-driven learning, and strengthening academia-industry engagement. IIM Bodh Gaya today offers a wide range of programmes, including MBA, MBA in Digital Business Management (MBA-DBM), MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management (MBA-HHM), the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), PhD, and Executive MBA, catering to learners at multiple stages of their professional journey.
Through its Management Development Programmes (MDPs) and the Chief Minister’s Fellowship Programme (CMFS), IIM Bodh Gaya extends its impact beyond the classroom into governance and public service. The institute has conducted training programmes for the Bihar Police Academy and engaged numerous officers and officials across the state, strengthening leadership and administrative capacity. It also delivers specialised executive programmes, including global MDPs such as Leadership in a VUCA World, and hosts the International Research Conference on Mindfulness (IRCM), fostering dialogue on leadership, well-being, and management practices. Through these sustained efforts and collaborations with government and industry, IIM Bodh Gaya continues to contribute meaningfully to capacity-building and the socio-economic development of Bihar. The commemorative philatelic release underscores India Post’s enduring role in documenting milestones of national importance while symbolising a shared commitment to connecting heritage, education, and nation-building.
